About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Catering Attendant to join our team at dnata catering. As a Catering Attendant, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our airline customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals, including food handling, plating, and meal tray set-up, ensuring presentation specifications are met.
  • Meal Assembly and Packaging: Assist chefs in ensuring meals are carefully packed and loaded into meal racks and airline carts for delivery.
  • Menu Variety: Work on different classes, including Economy, Business Class, and First Class menus for our various client airlines.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain compliance with food safety and HACCP guidelines, and adhere to hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate counts and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for prolonged periods, move, and lift items as required.
  • Shift Work: Willingness to work a 7-day roster, including shifts and weekends.
  • Appearance and Grooming: Maintain a neat and tidy appearance, adhering to company dress code standards.
  • Desirable Skills: Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP, basic knife skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
