Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain a large manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and execute external maintenance activities, manage the internal preventative maintenance system, and oversee the daily activities of internal maintenance staff.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks and projects.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Design, draw, and coordinate the manufacturing of small jigs and fixtures required for use by the facility.
  • Develop and maintain plant layout, assembly line, and other facility-related drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Review new product and part drawings to assess suitability within the production environment.
  • Facilitate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities into the manufacturing facility.
  • Maintain and update site-related drawings, including traffic management, evacuation diagrams, and other engineering-related documents.
  • Communicate effectively with external contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working in a facilities-based role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in CAD (AutoCAD preferred) and management & control tools (Jira & TFS).
  • Ability to work in a team and/or individually, with good written and oral communication skills.
  • Degree-qualified engineer or other applicable degree.
  • Previous facilities management experience and prior manufacturing facility experience are highly desirable.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and other MS Office applications, and knowledge of software IDE is desirable.
