Job Role:

The Cyber Security Professional will play a critical role in safeguarding our technology environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the integration of cyber security into business-as-usual operations and projects.
  • Maintaining awareness of the evolving threat landscape, compliance obligations, and security best practices.
  • Assisting in implementing and improving security technologies, policies, and operational controls.
  • Contributing to secure system design and product development by providing expert guidance.
  • Managing and monitoring key security platforms (e.g., vulnerability management, privileged access, secure email).
  • Supporting incident response, investigations, and cyber security testing (e.g., phishing, penetration tests).
  • Developing and delivering security awareness training and ensuring policy compliance across the business.
  • Coordinating compliance, audit, and due diligence efforts in collaboration with Risk, Legal, and Technology teams.
  • Performing third-party risk assessments and staying engaged with industry trends and innovations.
  • Providing general cyber security advice and support to staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Information Security with strong knowledge of security operations and vulnerability management.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, Data Loss Protection, and email security incident response.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices, particularly around Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Skilled in security awareness training, phishing simulations, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Strong communicator, able to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience leading security projects and refining processes for network and information security.
  • Committed to continuous learning and ideally hold, or are working towards, cyber security certifications.
