Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager to lead the finance and administration teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance and administration areas, providing support from the Corporate Services team.

The role involves overseeing reception, payroll, document management, asset management, accounts payable and receivable, as well as month-end reconciliations and quarterly financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager of Corporate Services to provide high-level problem-solving, leadership, and direction to staff in general service delivery.
  • Provide ongoing professional support and regular supervision and appraisals to staff.
  • Monitor and authorise finance and payroll paperwork to ensure integrity and adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards, meeting all timeframes.
  • Undertake regular monthly reviews of budget actual results with Program Managers.
  • Devise and monitor standards of practice within Agency policies and procedures, and Acts of Parliament governing Agency work.
  • Provide leadership and expertise in Finance and Administration, delivering quality professional advice and support to Management and external service providers.
Requirements
  • South Australian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • National Police Clearance
  • Safe Environments for Children Young People Certificate
  • Current South Australian Drivers Licence
  • Unrestricted eligibility to work in Australia
  • CPA or CA equivalent accounting qualifications highly desirable
