Our organization is seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our facilities team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our hospital buildings and equipment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing all required maintenance duties and tasks, including work relating to potential refurbishment.
  • Performing daily operational and maintenance checks on all plant, equipment, and buildings.
  • Undertaking general maintenance/handyman duties or work across other trade areas within skill level, as required.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of relevant Australian Standards associated with maintenance of a private hospital facility.
  • Participating in after-hours on-call service, performing emergency tasks as required.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant trade experience, although not necessary (plumbing, mechanical fitter, electrical, or carpentry).
  • Previous experience in commercial facility maintenance, preferably in hospitals.
  • A proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
