Data Center Project Manager

A highly skilled Data Center Project Manager is sought to oversee the construction of mission-critical facilities for ENGINEERINGUK. The ideal candidate will possess experience in design and construction management, as well as expertise in program management for mission-critical projects.
Responsibilities include managing project scope, timeline, and budget, driving cost savings and schedule optimization, providing construction management for specific initiatives aimed at increasing data center resilience, reviewing constructability of electrical and mechanical systems, and creating project scope and equipment requirements. Additional duties include managing Requests for Information (RFIs) during construction, coordinating with engineers, and recording and reporting key metrics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multiple projects simultaneously, including new data center builds and capital improvement projects associated with existing facilities. They will also be expected to provide operational support for installed facilities, review procedures, best practices, and maintenance initiatives, and travel to data center sites for audits, reviews, and commissioning.
A Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Construction Management, Architecture, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is required. Experience in mission-critical projects such as data centers, semi-conductor facilities, hospitals, and oil and gas infrastructure is also necessary. In addition, knowledge of Australian building codes and regulations is essential.
