Liability Underwriter Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Liability Underwriter to join our team in a senior capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of liability insurance products, excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Underwrite risks within defined appetite and authority
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborate with claims and internal teams
  • Develop and tailor policy wordings
  • Represent the company at broker and client meetings
  • Support the training and development of junior colleagues
  • Travel interstate and attend insurance conferences

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in liability underwriting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A collaborative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated approach
