**Security Operations Professional:**

We are seeking a skilled individual to fill a critical role in our Security Operations Team.

Job Purpose:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing security tools and systems, collaborating with operations teams to ensure seamless integration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement security tools and systems in accordance with industry best practices
  • Monitor, analyze, and research security threats and vulnerabilities
  • Manage and coordinate security incident responses to minimize downtime
  • Provide input on the design of security automation and use-case developments to enhance overall security posture
  • Recommend enhancements to address ICT security gaps and improve compliance
  • Review and process requests raised to ICT Security to ensure timely resolution
  • Assist in maintaining effective security operations throughout the protect, detect, respond, and recover functions
  • Develop security standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role with a focus on cybersecurity
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or other relevant security certifications
  • Experience in cybersecurity threat management with a strong understanding of TCP/IP stacks, malware, and network analysis
  • Knowledge of Gateways, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
  • Experience working within a complex enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Understanding of Mitre and OWASP frameworks and their application in cybersecurity
