As an Early Childhood Teacher with Goodstart, you will play a vital role in delivering our programs and services, working closely with our experienced team to create a nurturing environment that promotes learning, exploration and creativity. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging and educational activities, observing and assessing child development, and communicating effectively with parents and carers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers, ensuring open communication and collaboration
  • Conduct regular observations and assessments of child development, identifying areas of strength and need
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and programs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or ACECQA approved equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current SA Working with Children Check
  • Hold active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA)
