Role OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional tax lawyer to join our team, with a strong background in corporate/commercial and financial services law. As a highly experienced lawyer, you will work closely with our Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Tax, providing tax and structuring advice, legal and tax due diligence on investments, reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal documents, and providing guidance on legislative compliance and governance matters.
Responsibilities:- Providing expert tax advice on complex transactions and investments
- Conducting legal and tax due diligence on potential investments
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal documents
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of tax law, corporate/commercial law, and financial services law
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
