About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delicatessen Manager to join our team at Coles. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the deli department, ensuring exceptional customer service, high-quality products, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of deli department staff, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure they meet sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain excellent department standards, including stock management, rotation routines, wastage, shrinkage, and quality control.
  • Drive a culture of teamwork, celebrating success and prioritizing team members' health, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Delight our customers with an outstanding shopping experience, ensuring high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve overall store performance.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced retail professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams. You will have a proven track record of success in a fast-paced customer-facing environment, with experience in leadership, coaching, and development.

You will be a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also be committed to maintaining high standards of customer service, product quality, and store appearance.
