Strategic Raw Materials Sourcing Specialist

We are looking for a seasoned procurement expert to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize supply chain performance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies across direct spend categories for raw materials.

About the Role

As a Procurement Specialist, your primary objective will be to evaluate supplier landscapes, review spend analysis, and lead sourcing activities and tenders through to contract award. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to achieve operational, commercial, and compliance objectives while ensuring that price, risk, quality, and ESG considerations are optimized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate supplier landscapes and develop procurement category strategies to maximize value and minimize risk
  • Review spend analysis and lead sourcing activities and tenders to ensure optimal contract outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver operational, commercial, and compliance objectives

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track-record of achievement in procurement, particularly in direct spend categories and raw materials
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
  • An established network of suppliers across the manufacturing, building materials, and construction sectors

In addition to your technical expertise, you should possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
