Job Description

The successful applicant will coordinate and facilitate a comprehensive change and transition program at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. This program aims to ensure a seamless integration of the redevelopment project, focusing on clinical engagement, staff support, and patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing clinical engagement strategies
  • Working in partnership with precinct organizations to coordinate planning, development, and implementation of the change and transition program
  • Ensuring engagement of key clinical stakeholders and services in planning for CHW Stage 2
  • Leading organizational change and redesign of models of care to deliver transformation of patient care

What You'll Achieve:

  • Facilitate consumer engagement in the planning and transition process
  • Advocate for the best and safest care for children in the redevelopment
  • Operate as part of the Westmead Redevelopment team, coordinating all relevant activities related to the redevelopment with precinct partners
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Substantial previous experience in clinical operations, change management, operational management, or project management roles within Health
  • High-level skills & experience in change management and/or planning and development, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and high-level influencing, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
