Windows System Administration Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled system administrator to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical systems across virtual, desktop, and cloud infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Virtual Desktop SOE Management: Utilize scripting tools such as PowerShell to build, deploy, and manage virtual desktops.
  • Application Deployment: Administer Microsoft Configuration Manager for packaging and deploying applications.
  • Secure End-User Computing: Manage secure end-user computing environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain systems through patching, updates, and troubleshooting across Windows environments.

Required Skills:

  • Microsoft Server and Desktop Environments: Proven experience with MECM, Exchange, and WSUS.
  • PowerShell Scripting: Demonstrated expertise in scripting and deployment methodologies.
  • Secure System Administration: Strong knowledge of secure system administration practices within a high-security setting.
  • Virtual Desktop Optimization: Experience optimizing and supporting virtual desktop environments, ideally with Citrix technologies.

Benefits:

  • This is a 12-month contract with options for two x 12-month extensions.
