Housing Plus is seeking a skilled Case Worker to join our Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV) program in Bathurst. As a Case Worker, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality case management activities to enable women and children to remain safe and free from domestic violence in their own home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure effective service referral pathways for women experiencing domestic violence.
  • Deliver client services to clients experiencing emotional distress, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Identify key stakeholders and establish effective relationships to facilitate women's ability to stay home safely after separation from domestic violence.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to prevent homelessness and promote long-term stability in housing, income, employment, education, and social support networks.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Community Services, ideally within the DFV Sector.
  • Proven ability to professionally and sensitively deliver client services.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying key stakeholders and establishing effective relationships.
