Job Title: Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled engineer to manage a portfolio of lifecycle enhancement projects for mobile equipment in Western Sydney.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of design and systems engineering processes, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components and systems.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in mobile equipment engineering, including design, maintenance, overhauls, commissioning, and testing of heavy equipment is required.

About the Role:

  • You will conduct investigations, scoping, design/engineering works, and project manage the execution of lifecycle enhancement projects.
  • Your responsibilities will include providing technical advice and support to internal stakeholders on all mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic matters.
  • You will coordinate with service and production teams to allocate and manage resources, ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner.
  • You will be responsible for pre-delivery commissioning, testing, inspection, and compliance verification of new and overhauled machines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in mobile equipment engineering, including design, maintenance, overhauls, as well as commissioning and testing of heavy equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of design and systems engineering processes.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
