At SA Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Prosthetist and Orthotist to join our team in Northern Adelaide. The successful candidate will play a vital role in designing, fabricating, and fitting custom-made devices that enhance mobility, improve quality of life, and promote independence. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and providing ongoing follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes.

The Orthotics and Prosthetics team is based at Modbury Hospital, where you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. You will provide an outpatient service, as well as treating patients within the Day Rehabilitation Service, and responding to referrals from the inpatient rehabilitation wards.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification in Orthotics and Prosthetics. Strong communication skills and an empathetic approach will be essential in building trust and fostering positive relationships with patients and their families.
