Job Title

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic team leader to join a centrally located early learning centre in Doncaster East, moments from Westfield Shopping Centre.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Centre Manager with managing day-to-day operations. They will also provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum one year's experience mentoring a team as an Assistant Director.
- Experience in overseeing and implementing a program based on children's needs and interests.
- A strong understanding of compliance and National Quality Standards (NQF).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound experience in supporting the staff management of a medium to large childcare service.
- The ability to support and work collaboratively with your team, and assist and support the Centre Director in the general day-to-day running of the service.

The service is centrally located, close to public transport and shops. There is a dedicated parking spot for the 2IC/Assistant Director. With less than 75 children at full occupancy, this role is manageable and comes with less stress than some of the larger centres in the area.
