Early Learning Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to lead our team of Educators in creating safe and secure environments where young children thrive.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our Centre Leadership to develop and implement innovative early learning programs that will set children up for formal schooling and beyond.

As an Early Learning Leader, you will be responsible for building meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.

You will lead and guide teams in developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
  • Leading and guiding teams in developing and implementing an innovative early learning program.
  • Documenting and sharing with families their child's learning and development.
  • Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of our Early Years Curriculum.

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in long day care or equivalent setting.
  • Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Current Working with Children's Check.
