About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at HammondCare At Home. As a Care Worker, you will provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their home and directly improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including assisting with showering and dressing
  • Help with household tasks, such as meal preparation and light house cleaning
  • Provide transportation to appointments and assist with shopping
  • Assist with medication management
About You
  • You are a patient and solution-focused individual who can relate to people
  • You may have previous experience in aged or community care, or be looking to start your career in aged care
  • You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car
  • Ideally, you hold a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification

  • $29.71 to $31.04 per hour plus 96c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided
  • Full training is given to all our Care Workers, no experience is necessary

You will be required to undertake a Police Check, provide two referees and evidence of three COVID-19 vaccinations.
