Job Opportunity: Dairy/Freezer Department Lead

 

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled leader to head our dairy/freezer department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through exceptional customer service and product presentation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the dairy/freezer department by setting high standards for customer service and product presentation.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels, merchandise effectively, and ensure attention to detail.
  • Partner with the team to achieve store goals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support team members' growth and development.
  • Ensure adherence to opening/closing procedures, cash handling, WHS, and Food Safety standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills that motivate and engage your team.
  • Proven stock management expertise, including planning, merchandising, and attention to detail.
  • High energy levels, initiative, and a positive mindset, with a genuine passion for working with food and people.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, WHS, and Food Safety compliance.
  • Physical fitness for lifting and standing throughout your shift.
