We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Cleaner to join our Derrimut DC team on a part-time basis

**Details**:

- Part-time (20 hours per week)
- 5 days per week
- 6:00am-10:00am
- Level 2 Storeman Rate

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Collect and remove waste materials from waste bins points around the premises and dispose as instructed.
- Inspect floors (including under racking) in Annex, Freezer, Chiller for any visible rubbish (e.g. pallet boards, plastic, cardboard etc.). Collect rubbish and dispose into waste bins.
- As required clean up any snow/ice build-up in the Freezer Warehouse and dispose of into waste bins.
- Under instruction from the relevant area Supervisor (Chilled or Frozen) collect any damaged product and either place into nominated waste bins or quarantined holding areas.
- Carry out scheduled cleaning (washing) of bollards and walls as instructed.
- Carry out regular dusting of wire caging around walkways.
- Inspect Loading Docks for any visible rubbish (e.g. pallet boards, plastic, cardboard etc.). Collect rubbish and dispose into waste bins.
- Inspect Battery Charging Room (including under racks) for any visible rubbish. Collect rubbish and dispose into waste bins.
- Inspect external eating/smoking areas for any visible rubbish. Collect rubbish and dispose into waste bins.
- Sweep floors manually and where appropriate using the mechanical sweeper as required to ensure high standard of cleanliness
- Ensure cleaning materials (brooms, shovels, sweeper etc.) are kept in their nominated storage locations when not in use.

**You will have**:

- Manual dexterity and physical capability to perform the full range of manual handling tasks.
- A current forklift license or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work effectively either individually or in a team environment
- Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment (freezer - 25 degrees)
