Site Leader Position

This role involves delivering large-scale projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. As a Site Leader, you will oversee trade activities, plant operations, and material management to maintain project momentum.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily/weekly work schedules to achieve milestones.
  • Collaborate with crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure necessary setup, access, and resources are in place before trades arrive.
  • Operate heavy equipment or drive vehicles when required to maintain project progress.
  • Monitor productivity against established benchmarks and adjust resources as needed.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and challenges to the Operations Manager.
  • Foster strong relationships with builders, clients, and suppliers.

Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager, Supervisor, or Foreman in commercial landscaping, civil construction, concreting, or related fields.
  • Confidence in reading and interpreting plans, and managing sequencing from start to finish.
  • Holding a valid White Card and current driver's license is essential.
  • A Truck license (MR or HR) is highly regarded.
  • Machinery/plant operation tickets are also highly regarded.
  • A Certificate III in Landscape Construction (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
