About the Opportunity:

  • Provide dedicated support to individuals with disabilities in Toowoomba, facilitating their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement person-centred care and positive behaviour support plans to promote client satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve goals through meaningful activities and programmes.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and documentation to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Advocate for client choice and control, promoting autonomy and dignity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to work within a positive behaviour support framework and approved restrictive practices.
  • Complex healthcare support including medication administration, ensuring safe and effective care.
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate, demonstrating commitment to client safety.
