We are seeking a skilled Driller to join our team and take advantage of career growth opportunities in drilling operations. This is an exciting chance to work with advanced drilling equipment and technologies, enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
This is a FIFO position for remote exploration or mine-site locations with options for various rosters.
Responsibilities:- Operate drill rig to OEM standards within a highly regulated operational safety system.
- Exercise duty of care in all aspects of work activities as well as personnel under control.
- Ensure compliance with current HSE regulations and site-specific rules or regulations.
- Perform comprehensive inspections on equipment daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly to high standards.
- General maintenance and repairs including servicing and component change outs.
- Oversee correct sampling procedures and ensure core marking to client requirements.
- Train, coach and mentor trainee drillers in safe work practices and rig operations.
- Liaise with clients and execute drilling programs successfully.
- Provide leadership and support for drilling and maintenance.
- Current HR or above licence.
- Completed or completing Cert III in Drilling Operations.
- Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID011.
- Current Police Clearance.
