About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Specialist to join our team at Wormald Security. As a CAD Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs for security systems, including alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop 2D and 3D CAD models for security systems
  • Collaborate with security system designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet client requirements
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of applicable Australian Standards and industry best practices
  • Utilize Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel to create reports and presentations
  • Work effectively in a team environment to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
  • Identify and resolve design issues and problems in a proactive and timely manner
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the building services and construction industry
Requirements
  • Proven experience in CAD design and drafting, preferably in the security industry
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer relationships
