Security Systems CAD Designer Opportunity

Wormald Security, a leading provider of High Security Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, and CCTV Systems, is seeking a skilled CAD Draftsperson to join their team in Fyshwick, Canberra.

As a CAD Draftsperson, you will work alongside Security System Designers, Engineers, Project Managers, and field specialists on a range of exciting projects, from tenancy fit-outs to major infrastructure projects across Canberra and nationally.

You will receive training and mentoring through all phases of the design process, ensuring your skills and knowledge are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in 2D and 3D drafting formats
  • Ability to read and comprehend Australian Standards and apply requirements to projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel
  • Strong team work and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivation and high energy levels
  • Commitment to safety, quality, environment, and customer relationships
  • Prior experience in the building services and construction industry
