The operations engineer will be responsible for:

  • Building Relationships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and lead challenging projects to completion.
  • Data Analysis: Pull and transform data to understand current activities, and build a business case for improvement efforts.
  • Process Development: Develop existing and future state process flows.
  • Systems Roadmap: Contribute to a systems roadmap and work with the software team to develop requirements for any necessary enterprise system changes.
  • Logistics Management: Anticipate and identify challenges within the material flow and logistics value stream, determine root-cause failures, and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Operations Metrics: Develop, standardize, and continuously improve key process indicators and other operations metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and/or inventory management.

This role requires extended hours and/or weekends as needed to meet major milestones. Based in Brownsville, TX, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that contribute to making humanity a multi-planetary species.
