Court Support Officer

The Children's Court of Victoria has jurisdiction under the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 to hear cases involving children and young people up to the age of 18 years, and in some cases up to 19 years.
The court has a Family Division and a Criminal Division and sits at locations throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
About the Role:- Provide dedicated judicial support to judges
- Perform administrative tasks including courtroom duties, client contact, enquiries and back office responsibilities
- Facilitate and manage courtroom processes and provide support to judges
- Assist in the preparation of court files, proactive file management and processing files and documents in accordance with relevant procedures, practices and legislation
Court Services Victoria employs staff at all Victorian courts and tribunals, the Judicial College of Victoria and the Judicial Commission of Victoria.
