About us
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
The Project Officer will be responsible for delivering a wide range of time-sensitive project tasks, operational support functions and developing reports on complex matters. The role will involve a combination of autonomous and collaborative work as part of a small project team embedded within the Court Support and Diversionary Services (CSDS) business unit.
About you
Court Support and Diversionary Services are looking for someone with demonstrated project management skills, strong professional communication and ability to deliver timely and quality products working as part of a team.
The role requires the ability to work effectively across multiple concurrent projects and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Project management, business, public policy (or similar) qualifications or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
