About the Role:

As a Rehabilitation Consultant at IPAR, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes. Your expertise in occupational rehabilitation will enable you to provide high-quality services to clients, employers, and medical professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Case management, including caseloads and administrative support;
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
  • Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
  • Completing various assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors ASORC;
  • Fabulous communication skills, compassion, and kindness; a current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
