Electrical Supervisor Role Overview

Are you a skilled electrical supervisor looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to lead and coordinate our electrical workforce requirements on upcoming shutdowns in Perth, Australia.

This is a key role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation abilities. You will be responsible for ensuring safe systems of work for all personnel, planning activities to standards, and directing the electrical workforce to achieve project goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Supervisor, a WA A Grade Electrical Licence, and leadership experience with successful team delivery. You should also have strong safety commitment, exceptional communication skills, and leadership, negotiation, dispute resolution skills. Organizational and analytical skills are also essential, as well as the ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safe systems of work for all personnel.
  • Plan activities to standards and minimize inefficiencies.
  • Direct and coordinate electrical workforce requirements.
  • Understand risk management, quality assurance, and control.
  • Participate in safety investigations and reporting.
  • Monitor site instructions to ensure cost capture and agreement.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
  • WA A Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Leadership experience with successful team delivery.
  • Strong safety commitment.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Leadership, negotiation, dispute resolution skills.
  • Organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • CPR/LVR certificate (issued within last 12 months).
  • White card and valid Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Working at Heights (within 2 years).
  • RTIO Inducted.
  • S26 Trained.
