Your Career as a Traction Linesperson

We are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team as Traction Linespersons at various depots in the SEQ region. As part of our commitment to being the safest, best-performing, and customer-focused railway in Australia, we need individuals who share our values and are ready to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead traction power equipment according to predefined work programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) requirements and legislative policies.
  • Implementing work procedures for continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of overhead traction power equipment and relevant maintenance standards.
  • Proficiency in High Voltage Operating Procedures and safe working practices.
  • Strong skills in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead traction power equipment.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary package including an attractive full-time aggregate salary of $115,540, with the availability of allowances such as response standby, plus additional overtime shifts.
  • Relocation benefits, located in Brisbane.
  • An 8-week rotational working cycle, with scheduled nights, weekends, and track closures.
  • Requirement to travel across multiple Depots/Regions, with all expenses covered.
  • Great Superannuation Scheme with 12.75% employee contribution.
  • All PPE & uniform supplied.
