We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Integrated Care Refugee Health Service team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care that promotes psycho-social wellbeing and supports successful community integration.
- Support clients through holistic, client-centred care approaches.
- Utilize mental health expertise to create positive outcomes for patients, families, and carers.
- Collaborate with a passionate team focused on advocacy and wellbeing.
You will work within a collaborative and supportive environment to provide assessment, counselling, consultation, and education services. Your comprehensive knowledge of social work theories, trauma-informed therapeutic models, and gender-specific health issues will be invaluable in this role.
- Strong skills in psychosocial assessment, care planning, and complex clinical decision-making.
- Significant experience in healthcare settings working with individuals impacted by trauma, chronic disease, and social disadvantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with interpreters and support culturally diverse clients.
