Job Title: School Psychologist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team at Mount Scopus Memorial College. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for supporting the educational and social development of our primary school children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to support the learning and social development of our students
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for students with special needs
  • Provide counseling and support to students, teachers, and parents as needed

Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualification and experience as a Psychologist
  • Sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and commitment to child safety
  • Experience in working in a similar environment and/or position is preferred but not essential
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
