Chef Assistant - Entry Level

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified chefs to start their career in one of Australia's most stunning island destinations. As a Chef Assistant, you will be working under the guidance of senior chefs in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

  • Prepare and cook food to a high standard across various kitchen sections.
  • Present dishes consistently and with care.
  • Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Gain experience across different kitchens on the island to broaden your skills.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences as part of our collaborative team.

Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Essential).
  • Valid working rights in Australia (minimum 6 months).
  • Willingness to learn and follow direction.
  • Good organisational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Open Australian driver's licence (manual required for some roles).
  • Relevant kitchen experience (preferred but not essential).
