Due to a consistent rate of company growth, we require an Electrical Technician to join our team in Perth, on a Full-Time basis.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate extensive experience with electrical engineering services, including testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve project deliverables outlined in the business plan.
  • Perform work and provide technical support for electrical equipment.
  • Ensure client requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Professionally execute all assigned projects from start to finish.
  • Work in remote areas within the state, interstate, or internationally as required.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
  • An electrical trade qualification (current fitter/mechanic electrical license). Preferred but not a requirement.
  • 5 or more years' experience in electrical engineering services.
  • Perform oil filtration and circulation of electrical equipment.
  • Rectification and refurbishment work of electrical equipment.
  • Installation and assembly of new electrical equipment and provide onsite support.
  • Site inspections and consultancy for electrical equipment to assist clients with maintenance plans and rectifications or refurbishments.
  • Familiar with electrical components and accessories, such as tap changer systems.
  • Ability to fault find, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical service requirements.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Truck license is preferred but not a requirement.
  • Ability to perform electrical testing is preferred but not a requirement.
