Environmental Management Role
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to join our team. The role will involve promoting environmental awareness, conducting monitoring and reporting, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
This is a key position that requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently.
- Provide support to the Senior Environmental Advisor in developing and implementing environmental strategies.
- Conduct site visits to monitor and report on environmental conditions.
- Assist with the development of environmental documentation and reports.
- Implement and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Champion waste management practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or a related field.
- Previous experience in a site-based environmental role.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and GIS programs.
- Knowledge of the Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental regulatory framework.
- An understanding of EMS principles and practices.
