Job Opportunity

Pepe's Ducks Ltd is seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join its team as a Hatchery Assistant.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the breeding program, loading and packing eggs and ducklings for local transport, handling and grading fertile duck eggs for hatching, and preparing eggs for incubation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and packing eggs and ducklings for local transport
  • Handling and grading fertile duck eggs for hatching
  • Sorting and grading eggs and day-old poultry
  • Preparing eggs for incubation
Requirements
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift, push, and pull trays up to 10kgs repeatedly
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Comfortable working with live poultry
Work Environment

The position is located in Mulgrave, NSW (near Windsor) and involves working with modern automated equipment. We provide uniforms and on-the-job training.

Selection Criteria

Applicants with previous experience in the Poultry Processing industry and Food Manufacturing industry will be highly regarded. A pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test, will be conducted for successful applicants.
