Hardware Specialist

As a Hardware Specialist at CAE Australia, you will be responsible for supporting hardware engineering activities associated with through-life support contracts, upgrades, and installation projects across our simulators and training devices.
The role involves selecting, procuring, installing, and setting up various low-power electrical and mechanical interfaces, mechanical fixtures, and systems. You will also define or update CAD drawings and wiring schematics, as well as maintain associated installation instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop simulation hardware solutions for assigned tasks
- Maintenance of development folders required to capture hardware development activities
- Deployment of products on customer sites
- Provide support at Integration facilities
- Manage performance and maintenance of associated test procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Advanced Diploma or Certificate IV in a relevant hardware domain and/or equivalent experience
- Functional expertise in hardware and electrical engineering principles
- Experience in aviation/flight simulation and/or military hardware engineering is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
