Employment Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our National Industrial and Employment Law (I+E) Team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to clients across Australia.

  • Liaise with clients to understand their employment law needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct and manage new client enquiries, maintaining regular and open communication with clients.
  • Collaborate with senior lawyers and counsel to clarify and resolve complex legal issues.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality legal advice and support to clients on employment-related matters.
  • Manage files from start to finish, including conducting investigations, drafting court documents, and representing clients in court.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve client objectives, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years post-admission experience as an Employment Lawyer.
  • Prior experience in Industrial and/or Employment Law and/or Federal and State industrial commissions.
  • Personal understanding and affinity for the trade union movement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to exercise empathy and compassion towards clients.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and resolve problems quickly.
