Strategic Governance Position

Key to a successful Board Membership is effective governance, strategic planning and decision making.
The role involves oversight of the organization's risk management, financial stability and stakeholder engagement.
A key responsibility is committee participation and contributing to board sub-committees such as finance and risk; fundraising and nominations.
Applicants must have high level strategic thinking and corporate governance skills; legal expertise, philanthropic experience and strong government relations.
The ideal candidate will possess diverse qualifications including First Nations Peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTIQ+ individuals, people with lived experience of disabilities and young people under 30 years of age.
The Board meets regularly and has a maximum of 10 members. Additional meetings are held as needed.
