
Workforce Development Specialist

The role of Workforce Development Specialist plays a pivotal part in implementing HR strategies, ensuring alignment with Group policies, and addressing the needs of local industrial teams.
This specialist coordinates with Cluster HRBP to drive talent development, employee engagement, labor relations, and HR systems management, fostering a productive work environment.
Main Responsibilities- Strategic HR Implementation: Manage Plant HR strategy and policy implementation, supporting the rollout of Group policies, guidelines, and methodologies at the Plant level.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure local HR policies are up-to-date and compliant with Group standards and local regulations.
- Labor Law Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR administrative requirements.
- Union Relations: Participate in union meetings and contribute to labor relations strategies alongside the ANZ Cluster HRBP.
- Communication Strategies: Support communication strategies between managers and employees, assist Line Managers in planning and structuring communication processes.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage recruitment and hiring processes, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Employment Contracts: Prepare employment contracts in line with Group templates and legal requirements.
- Talent Development: Support the implementation of professional development initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities.
- Training Programs: Oversee training plans and development programs, especially for blue-collar employees.
- Employee Engagement: Lead the execution of engagement initiatives and contribute to their design.
- Culture Development: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Payroll Administration: Collaborate with Finance and Payroll teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with tax and social security obligations; manage payroll process together with the Payroll Manager.
- HR Systems Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data in SAP and other systems.
- Audit Support: Support internal and external audits with reliable HR data and documentation.
- Education: University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Relevant HR business partnering experience, manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
- Skills: HR professional knowledge including staffing, talent development, rewards, labor law, and local HR best practices.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills, stakeholder management.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced with MS Office, SAP knowledge considered a plus.
