Logistics Coordinator Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at the warehouse and transport operations department.

This role is perfect for someone looking to build their career in logistics and develop their skills in planning, execution, and management of warehouse and transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient planning and execution of warehouse and transport operations to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, Chain of Responsibility, and other legislative obligations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Driving productivity through effective use of resources, WMS planning, and fleet management to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and sustainability to contribute to the company's growth and success.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in warehousing and logistics, either white or blue collar, preferably with a background in planning and management.
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • A process-driven mindset and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing and RF systems, with SAP and/or Paperless WMS experience being advantageous.
