About the Role

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Pathology Services Assistant. As a key member of our Specimen Reception Area (SRA) Preanalytical Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specimen registration, data entry, and processing
  • Unpacking, receipting, and distribution of specimens
  • Lifting and carrying eskies
  • Delivery of specimens to laboratory departments
  • Loading of samples onto automated equipment
  • Preanalytical preparation and processing, including centrifuging and aliquoting of specimens
About You

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, possesses good communication and organizational skills, and has the ability to work as part of a busy and multi-tasked team. A high level of commitment to customer service, laboratory turnaround times, and accuracy of processing is required.
