About the Role

Ozcare is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients live their best lives by providing expert care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct In-Home Assessments: Conduct thorough clinical assessments in clients' homes to identify their physical and neurological needs.
  • Develop Intervention Plans: Create personalized intervention plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.
  • Prescribe Equipment and Aids: Prescribe and recommend equipment and aids to enhance clients' independent living skills.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, community providers, and family members to provide holistic care.
  • Report and Referrals: Report to case managers regarding client conditions and occupational therapy interventions, and make referrals as needed to ensure optimal client health outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Police Screening Certificate: Current Police Screening Certificate.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check: Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Driver's Licence: Current Queensland driver's licence.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates: First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Immunity Proof: Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
  • Computer and Mobile Device Skills: Good computer and mobile device skills.
