Your Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. This is a great opportunity to work across a wide range of client bases - from needing help with basic equipment, through to home modifications to assist our clients to stay safe in their homes and live as independently as possible

Your tasks will include:

Conducting in-home clinical assessments for physical and neurological conditionsDeveloping and implementing individual intervention plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goalsADL and mobility assessments, as well as prescribing aids and equipment to enhance independent living skills e.g. hoists, mobile commode, wheelchairsEnvironmental assessments and recommending home modifications to minimise fall risk and improve accessCollaborating with the multi-disciplinary team, other health care professionals, community providers, and family members to provide holistic careWhere appropriate, reporting to case managers regarding client conditions and occupational therapy interventions and recommendations. Additionally, making referrals (nursing, physiotherapy, dietetics) as needed to ensure optimal client health outcomesApplying for equipment and mobility aids through MASS, GEAT2GO and NDIS funding programs
