Job Overview

This role involves working as a primary school age children's educator in a part-time capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engaging activities and assisting with program planning.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement fun and interactive activities for children
  • Collaborate with OSHC Coordinators to ensure high-quality services and child safety
  • Work closely with families and share guidance to support child development
Role Details
  • Position: Educator - Children Services (OSHC)
  • Hours: Before School Care 6.30–8.30 AM; After School Care 2.30–5.30 PM, Monday to Thursday
  • Location: Ettalong, NSW
  • Contract: Permanent part-time

  • As an educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of primary school age children
  • You will contribute to designing a calendar of engaging activities that cater to diverse needs and interests
  • Reporting to OSHC Coordinators, you will work collaboratively to deliver exceptional services and promote a culture of inclusivity and respect

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
  • Experience working with children and supervising groups
  • Ability to follow safeguarding guidelines and protocols
  • Availability to supervise various hours, including Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care
  • Current First Aid certification and CPR training
  • Valid Working with Children Check and Police Check
