Overview

The Y NSW Ettalong, New South Wales, Australia is hiring a permanent part-time Educator to support children at OSHC services in Ettalong, with Before School Care and After School Care responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide fun and engaging activities for primary school age children
  • Help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
  • Support the OSHC Coordinators to ensure high-quality services and the safety and wellbeing of developing young minds
  • Work closely with children and families, sharing guidance and passion to help children grow
Role Details
  • Position: Educator - Children Services (OSHC)
  • Hours: Before School Care 6.30–8.30 AM; After School Care 2.30–5.30 PM, Monday to Thursday
  • Location: Ettalong, NSW
  • Contract: Permanent part-time
About Your New Role
  • You will provide fun and engaging activities for primary school age children
  • You will help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
  • Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres; you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW
  • You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn new skills and build your career

To be Successful in This Role, You Will Have
  • Experience supervising and interacting with children
  • Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
  • Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care hours
  • Current First Aid HLTAID012 and CPR
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Police Check (paid for by the Y)
