Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Township Maintenance Services team with maintenance tasks.
  • Perform a range of roles including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.

Requirements:

  • A relevant trade certification or license for the specific trade (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical).
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, equipment, and machinery relevant to the trade.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with site supervisors.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure work meets industry standards and specifications.
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks and maintain safety protocols at all times.
  • Ability to troubleshoot on-site issues and adapt to changing work conditions.
  • Familiarity with safety certifications (e.g., White Card or other relevant construction safety certification).

The ideal candidate will have an estimated annual salary of $60,000 - $90,000 AUD, depending on experience.
